We listened to you and as a result of the survey that took place after this year’s triathlons, we will be moving to one triathlon ins 2015. Focusing on one event will allow us to enhance the triathlon experience for all involved: our brave All-Stars, the incredible families and kids who are participating, and our generous sponsors.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. The Triathlon will now be called Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon as a result of our rebranding from The Miracles of Mitch Foundation to Pinky Swear Foundation.

Registration for the 2015 Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon will be open the first week in December at www.PinkySwear.org/events.
In further efforts to enhance the triathlon experience for everyone, we will be hosting an All-Star Picnic and Triathlon Awards Celebration at Lake Ann in Chanhassen on August 15, 2015. It is important for us to stay involved at Lake Ann and the Chanhassen area because not only is it Mitch’s hometown but we are immensely proud of the community that helped to push our mission of helping kids with cancer and their families forward. This fun, family event will give everyone a chance to interact with with the All-Star families and allow us a better opportunity to spotlight those individuals and families that have been successful in fundraising for kids with cancer in 2015.
Official Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon Race Director, Brian Mastel, says, “The move to one triathlon here in the Twin Cities allows us to focus on continuing to make the Pinky Swear Triathlon not only the biggest and best, but also to celebrate the #1 reason these kids work so hard to train and finish the event – the All Stars and their families. Lake Nokomis offers the ideal setting to safely grow while adding new and exciting elements to an already fantastic event, and we can ’t wait to get to work!”
Thank you for being a KEEPER of the Pinky Swear- we’re excited for the Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon in 2015!
