Childhood cancer through a sister's eyes.

A perspective during a childhood cancer journey that is often underrepresented is the siblings of a child going through cancer. Rightly so - a sick child needs more care, more attention, and there is much concern about their survival.

Meet our founder Mitch's sister, Melissa. For the first time publicly, Melissa is sharing her story. Communicating a sibling's perspective on a pediatric cancer diagnosis is complex. For her, there is grief and loss over her brother Mitch in addition to her experience with his osteosarcoma diagnosis.

She wants to ensure that siblings are seen, while respecting that parents of kids with cancer are doing their absolute best with the cards they have been dealt. This is her story.

If you or someone you know is a sibling of a child with cancer, pass this along for a sense of hope. 💙 Also, if you haven't heard the full story about our founder, Mitch, and the amazing pinky promise that started it all, we recommend watching it next.
