FUNDRAISING EVENT TO TAKE PLACE NOW THROUGH AUGUST 7
EDINA, MINN – [June 30, 2021] –Pinky Swear Foundation and Hy-Vee, Inc. are teaming up this summer to help kids with cancer with a NEW Kids Helping Kids Challenge with a goal of raising $50,000. In 2020, the annual Kids’ Triathlon went fully virtual, following health protocols created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The triathlon raised more than $62,000 for kids with cancer and their families. Pinky Swear Foundation, Hy-Vee, Inc. and Hy-Vee KidsFit are looking to raise support now through August 1 for these All-Stars and their families during this year’s initiative.
“Pinky Swear Foundation was built on the passion of kids helping kids,” said Erica Campbell, Pinky Swear Foundation’s executive director. “We are so grateful for our partnership with Hy-Vee, Inc. and their KidsFit program to motivate and encourage kids of all ages to support their community and make a difference for kids with cancer.”
This year’s event will encourage participants to raise crucial support to help other kids in their battle with cancer. Participants are invited to create fundraising pages and share with family and friends to raise money. On August 7, fundraisers will be rewarded with a fun fitness challenge as a celebration for their hard work and commitment.
This campaign is made possible thanks to Hy-Vee, Inc. and Hy-Vee KidsFit, who are committed to supporting kids with cancer and making their lives healthier and happier. To date, Hy-Vee, Inc. has donated more than $3 million to Pinky Swear Foundation.
