“We are thrilled to partner with the Pinky Swear Foundation. This has been a wonderful opportunity to educate our community youth on the importance of helping others in need,” says Jill Emmer, executive director for Art of Edina. “We are so proud of this unique project that has brought together the Edina Football Association, Southdale Center and the Pinky Swear Foundation! What an amazing way to spread awareness through art!”
Earlier this fall, this project also partnered with the Edina Football Association and hosted a “Pinky Swear Day” in honor of their 9-year-old teammate, Alex Wenngatz who recently relapsed with Acute Myleloid Leukemia (AML). “Not only has this been an amazing way to share our story and mission, but also a way for us to highlight a very brave All-Star in our own community,” continues Campbell. “We are all rooting for Alex.” Alex was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2012.
This is a brand-new partnership between Pinky Swear Foundation, Art of Edina and Tradition Companies.
