Pinky Swear Gala raises $220,000 plus $50,000 from KLN Family Brands!

Minneapolis, MN (April 14, 2018)—Eighteen inches of snow and furious winds were not going to stop 180 Pinky Swear Gala attendees and 40 volunteers from attending the Pinky Swear Gala on April 14, 2018 at Aria in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A great night was had by all, raising $220,000 to further the Pinky Swear Foundation mission to help kids with cancer and their families. An additional $50,000 was donated by KLN Family Brands, the makers of Wiley Wallaby Australian Style Licorice and Nutrisource Pet Foods.

The evening included fundraising activities like a wine pull, a punch wall, a jewelry box experience and a raffle for a JEEP 4X4 courtesy of Park Chrysler Jeep of Burnsville and the Dworsky Family. The program that evening included All-Star Jack and his family who shared their story of how Pinky Swear has made an impact on their family. All-Star Jack even did a Pinky Swear Pantry collection with his school back in February to give back to Pinky Swear!

The night was also a 15th anniversary celebration of the Pinky Swear promise originally made between a father and son to help kids with cancer and their families. A video featuring the Chepokas Family and the All-Star families of All-Star Timothy, All-Star Cooper and All-Star Alexa debuted that evening.
