Twin Cities Takes on Childhood Cancer with Annual Pinky Swear Gala

Edina, MN (February 20, 2019) – Pinky Swear Foundation is excited to announce their 2019 Pinky Swear Gala will take place on Saturday, April 27 at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis. This annual black-tie evening event aims to raise significant and crucial funds to support Pinky Swear Foundation’s mission of helping kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support. The 2019 gala, emceed by KARE 11’s Eric Perkins, will include food, cocktails, LIVE and silent auctions, a wine and jewelry pull, LIVE entertainment and much more.

“This is such an incredible event,” says Pinky Swear Foundation executive director, Erica Campbell. “It is amazing to see all of the support, especially from the corporate community, for our mission of helping kids with cancer and their families. And I’m really looking forward to seeing all of our guests in their finest orange and blue.”

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with our committee of dedicated volunteers to create the 2019 Pinky Swear Gala,” says Mary Setter, event co-chair and Pinky Swear Foundation board member. Co-chair Nancy Stieg continues, “This is an important mission and we are excited to help raise the crucial funds needed to allow the Pinky Swear Foundation team to continue helping even more kids with cancer and their families in Minnesota and around the country.”

The Pinky Swear Gala has a 2019 goal of raising $225,000 to support the mission of helping kids with cancer and has raised a total of $1.15 million since 2014.
