PINKY SWEAR GALA: A NIGHT OF ORANGE AND BLUE TO VIRTUALLY TAKE PLACE APRIL 10
EDINA, MINN – [MARCH 29, 2021] – Last year, Pinky Swear Foundation reimagined its annual Gala to be entirely virtual, following new health protocols created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The gala raised more than $150,000 for kids with cancer and their families, and the non-profit is looking to raise even more funds on April 10 for these All-Stars during the 2021 virtual event – Pinky Swear Gala: A Night of Orange and Blue.

“The Gala has always been an opportunity to recognize, support and celebrate these incredible kids and families,” says Erica Campbell, Pinky Swear Foundation’s executive director. “The extended COVID-19 pandemic has continued to significantly impact families with a child battling cancer, and we remain as committed as ever to helping them however we can.”

This year’s virtual event will include emcees Gia Vang (KARE 11 News – Minneapolis, MN) and Kristi O’Connor (WBTV 3 News – Charlotte, NC), a variety of junior emcees (NEW this year), guest speakers including Erica Campbell and several families the organization supports, a youth musical performance, a Fund-A-Need opportunity, and more. An online silent auction will also help raise support for families affected by childhood cancer.
“This gala is an incredible showcase of how donations impact families with a child battling cancer,” continues Campbell. “Without these funds, many of our families face losing their homes, their cars, not being able to put groceries on the table, etc. And the virtual nature of this event allows everyone to join. Please celebrate with us and continue making an impact on these children’s lives. Your support makes a huge difference to these families.”
This event is possible thanks to our 2021 sponsors including: Blue42 Agency, C.H. Robinson, Lake One, Medica, Sweet Chaos, Wiley Wallaby Licorice, Ballard Spahr, Deli Express, Geneva Capital, Hoover, Marsh and McLennan Agency and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
