September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the Arby’s Foundation is stepping up to help kids with cancer and their families. Throughout the month, donations made to Pinky Swear Foundation will be matched by the Arby’s Foundation, up to $40,000.
The Minneapolis and Saint Cloud Arby’s teams are proud to have selected Pinky Swear as a recipient of this grant to support this important cause. With these funds, Pinky Swear will be able to help families with essentials like gas, groceries, and housing so they can focus on their child, not their bills.
In total, the Arby’s Foundation anticipates giving out over 400 grants across the U.S.
Every donation to Pinky Swear supports families like River’s, who are navigating the overwhelming cost of childhood cancer while fighting to keep their child healthy and their household afloat. River was just two years old when he was first diagnosed with leukemia. He completed treatment and lived cancer-free for five years, until his cancer came back.
“Any donation is extremely helpful to people who are walking through pediatric cancer,” said Cecilia, River’s mom. “It takes the pressure off for families who are constantly worried and losing sleep over how they are going to pay their bills and financially survive.”
This September, every dollar donated makes an even bigger impact. Give today.
