A Party for a Promise – Raise Money for Kids with Cancer, Wherever You Are!

PINKY SWEAR SOIREE TO BE HELD APRIL 30, AND YOU’RE INVITED!

EDINA, MINN – [April 5, 2022] – Get ready to ‘Party for a Promise’ – a promise to help kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support. Grab friends and family to party with Pinky Swear Foundation at 5:30 p.m. CDT, April 30, 2022. Help set an event record of $150k in one night for kids with cancer during the 2022 Pinky Swear Soiree.

Tune in to this year’s soiree to hear All-Star Victoria’s incredible story of resilience and power. Her childhood cancer story began at just five years old; her diagnosis came just one week before the COVID-19 pandemic brought nationwide shutdowns. Victoria and her family had to take extra precautions to avoid sickness because of her low immunity due to her cancer treatment.

Victoria exceeds her title of ‘All-Star’. She feared the big, bustling hospital, but she never fussed once. The five-year-old followed all instructions without complaining. Between the strain of their daughter’s sickness and the pandemic, Victoria’s parents were no longer able to bring in two full-time incomes. Nothing mattered more to them than the life of their child.

“We are worried about money, but Victoria’s health is the priority; it’s all that’s important,” says Marieluz, Victoria’s Mom.

The Pinky Swear Soiree is a chance to learn All-Star Victoria’s full story and celebrate the lives of brave kids just like her. In addition to Victoria’s story, join Pinky Swear for the thirty-minute program to hear about the very first Pinky Swear promise, how your gifts have helped families in need, and much more!

“As difficult as these last two years have been on all of us, imagine fighting for your child’s life on top of it,” said Erica Campbell, Pinky Swear Foundation’s executive director. “We’re so glad we can still serve these families to our fullest potential.”
