Orange Envelope Program
Support for when you hear, "Your child has cancer."
The Orange Envelope Program offers financial support to families facing the difficult journey of a childhood cancer diagnosis or relapse. Within six months of a child's diagnosis, the program provides timely assistance, including a $200 gift card, heartfelt letters of encouragement, and a warm welcome to the Pinky Swear community.

FAQs about the Orange Envelope
Is my child eligible for the Orange Envelope?
- Child must been diagnosed with cancer or relapsed in the last six months.
- Child must be 18 years old or younger.
- Child must have been living with parents/guardians in the United States at time of diagnosis and continuing during treatment.
- Child must not have received an Orange Envelope previously.
- Child must be treated at a pediatric oncology hospital and have an approved pediatric oncology social worker. If your hospital or social worker is not on the list, ask your social worker to contact karen.svendsen@pinkyswear.org.
What do I need to do to apply?
Pediatric oncology social worker contact information (name, phone, and email).
Does my application need to be done online? Or is there a paper application?
The application is only offered online.
How long does the application process take?
It takes between 5-20 minutes to complete the application depending on the program.
How will you notify if approved or not approved for financial assistance?
Award notifications are sent to the primary email address and the social worker provided on the application. Please make sure to check your email regularly and the correct email address is on the application.
