There are many great organizations to support on this Giving Tuesday. Thank you for considering Pinky Swear Foundation. Over the past couple of days, many families with kiddos battling cancer will have spent time in the hospital rather than around a table with loved ones or would have had to consider if they could even afford to travel or host a family get-together. Today, we think of them, we empathize with them, and we support them.

Here are a few ways you can help kids with cancer this #GivingTuesday

  1. Donate.
Cancer is not cured, medical bills can be deferred, but the everyday expenses keep families up at night during a childhood cancer diagnosis. With the dollars donated, Pinky Swear Foundation will support families with transportation, food, and housing costs so they can breathe a little easier right now.
  1. Write letters of encouragement.
Included in all the financial packages we send to families are letters of encouragement made by passionate folks like you! Grab your printer paper, some markers and these guidelines and send them to Pinky Swear Foundation. These bring a smile to many kiddos faces to receive them!
  1. Share the message!
We totally understand if you're unable to give financially. Sharing this message is also really powerful! Head to one of the Pinky Swear Foundation's social posts and share it with your social media family.  You can share it from our Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. OR share this blog post by clicking on the share button to the left.

  2. Reach out to someone you love.
Maybe there is a friend or family member that you’ve been hesitant to reach out to, or a neighbor that you have seen struggling to rake leaves.

Together, we can make this day most impactful for children with cancer and their families. Pinkies Up! 💛💙
