Pinky Swear Foundation and Hy-Vee, Inc. are teaming up once again to support children with cancer. From October 16 to October 31, customers can participate in a register round-up campaign at all Hy-Vee locations.
During this period, Hy-Vee customers will have the opportunity to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar at the checkout. This simple act of generosity will provide vital support to families grappling with the financial challenges associated with childhood cancer, including essential expenses like gas and groceries.
Tina Potthoff, Senior Vice President of Communications at Hy-Vee, explained the significance of the collaboration. "Our partnership with Pinky Swear Foundation is rooted in our shared commitment to the well-being of children facing cancer and their families. By rallying our valued customers behind this noble cause, our goal is to raise substantial funds, providing families with the relief they need to focus on their child's care."
Erica Campbell, Executive Director at Pinky Swear Foundation, emphasized the urgency of this initiative. "Childhood cancer changes everything. The ongoing economic challenges and rising costs only compound the hardships faced by these families. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Hy-Vee for their unwavering support during these trying times."
Participation in the register round-up campaign can make a world of difference in the lives of children with cancer and their families. A few cents donated at the checkout can truly make an impact on those families going through a challenging time.
