Fundraising Policy

Thank you for choosing Pinky Swear Foundation as the beneficiary for your fundraising activities. Please review the following policies prior to conducting your event.

Event Coordination

Your event coordinator should contact Pinky Swear Foundation in a timely manner (preferably four to six weeks prior to the event date) to seek guidance and request resources.

Event organizers are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, especially those for raffles and/or games of chance.

Event organizers must obtain their own liability insurance to cover the event. Pinky Swear Foundation is not financially liable for the promotion and/or staging of third-party events.

Event Promotion

The event must be promoted in a manner to avoid statements or the appearance of Pinky Swear Foundation endorsing any product, firm, organization, individual, or service.

Pinky Swear Foundation's name and logo must be used in accordance with our brand standards.

All promotional materials must clearly state the percentage of proceeds that will benefit Pinky Swear Foundation.

Pinky Swear Foundation should receive a list of targeted sponsors for the event before they are approached to minimize overlap with other Pinky Swear events and/or fundraising campaigns that may be underway, if applicable.

Pinky Swear Foundation does not provide its database for the promotion of an event.

Event Requests

While we may be able to provide guidance for your event, we do not have the personnel to handle the organizational and administrative tasks associated with third-party events. Therefore, you are responsible for all details of the event including: underwriting all related costs, recruiting volunteers, creating flyers to publicize the event, and working at the actual event.

Due to the number of requests we receive, Pinky Swear Foundation cannot:

  • Send a representative to participate in all events.
  • Distribute posters or literature for your event at our locations.
  • Send emails promoting your event.
  • Promote your event on social media channels.

Inventory permitting, Pinky Swear Foundation would be happy to provide the items below with a four-week notice. Please be sure to request an accurate quantity as supplies are limited. 

  • PSF bracelets (adult and child sizes)
  • All-Star Cards
  • Other collaterals as inventory supports

Event Proceeds

You must notify Pinky Swear Foundation if another organization will also benefit from this event or promotion.

Pinky Swear Foundation cannot make any investment, pay for, or reimburse any expenses incurred as a result of a fundraising event. This means that the event must pay all expenses prior to remitting the net revenue to Pinky Swear Foundation.

Pinky Swear Foundation is not responsible for any financial loss and may withdraw support of any event should activities be discovered that undermine Pinky Swear Foundation’s mission or reputation.

Under no circumstances should third-party event revenue and expenses flow through Pinky Swear Foundation books. Only the final net proceeds from the event are to be processed by Pinky Swear Foundation.
