Hy-Vee Raises Nearly $225,000 to Support Kids with Cancer

THE MIDWEST RETAIL CHAIN PARTNERS ONCE AGAIN WITH PINKY SWEAR FOUNDATION

EDINA, MINN – [February 9, 2023] – Pinky Swear Foundation is thrilled to announce a record-breaking total of $224,251 from the 2022 Hy-Vee register round-up for kids with cancer! Last fall, Hy-Vee encouraged their customers to donate to Pinky Swear Foundation by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar at checkout.

“Right now, there is an abundance of struggle in the childhood cancer space.” said Erica Campbell, executive director at Pinky Swear Foundation. “Today’s inflation and economic challenges are overwhelming. We are thankful for Hy-Vee and their generous support during these challenging times.”

These funds will ease the financial burden of childhood cancer for families in the coming year. Pinky Swear Foundation’s All-Star Fund provides direct financial support for basic needs such as groceries, gas, mortgage, and car payments.
