Meet All-Star Kayla

A listener told Kayla's family about the help Pinky Swear could offer after hearing about it through Radiothon. Your support provided them with food during her chemo stay.

"We spent the gift card at the grocery store in between rounds of chemotherapy. I remember that it was such a help. It was two weeks of food, which made a real difference."

Why Radiothon?

Just before nine-year-old Mitch passed away from bone cancer, he made his father pinky swear promise to always help kids with cancer – even after he was gone. 20 years later, Pinky Swear Foundation continues to support children with cancer and their families with everyday expenses including gas, groceries, and housing payments.

In 2025, Pinky Swear Foundation has seen a 30% increase in application requests from families facing childhood cancer. Your support is needed now more than ever!

All-Star Kayla

Kayla was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at just two years old. The toddler’s diagnosis was complicated further because she was born with Down syndrome. The family heard about help from Pinky Swear from a friend who listens to WHO Radio. They immediately turned to Pinky Swear for help! Hear their story live, in 2025.
